az Angol The Xfactor 5. műsorában fedezték fel. Ahol is megnyerte
a döntőt. Az itt beágyazott videó is innen származik. Azóta pedig
tarol, három kislemeze köztük a Bad Boys is sláger lett. Az első
tízben még benne van ,persze azért mert mi még hallgatjuk. 1988 as
születésű és szülei Jamaikai származásúak. 5 évesen már jól
énekelt és kicsivel később már az anyjával lépett fel. Édesanyja,
Melissa Bell a ‘Soul to Soul’ nevű Grammy-díjas R&B
együttes énekese volt. Egy
tehetség kutatón már majdnem nyert. ( Erről a Monthy Pithon
társulat Gyalog galopp című filmje jut eszembe. Amikor azt mondják
Arthur királyhoz csatlakozott Sir Robin aki majdnem megverekedett
az Anthiokhiai sárkánnyal. Biztos előtte elszaladt.)
Már 2005 ben jelentkezett az xfactorba ,de az akkori mentora(nevet nem írok mert úgy sem jegyezzük meg) azt mondta ne vállalja mert túl fiatal. 2008 ban sikerült bejutnia és közben végig elkápráztatta a zsűrit. (Ügyes kislány.) Gyorsan mentek a dolgok utána mert már 2009-ben alá is írt egy lemez szerződést a Epic Records-zel . Sikereire hamarosan felfigyelt Beyoncé és 50 cent is és számos más sztár. De a két említett duettre is felkérte őt. Innentől azt hiszem szárnyal.
